Methodology Note:
A simultaneous coordinated attack involving multiple hotels is counted as one attack. The focus of this report is the location of the attack. If the hotel was not the primary target of the attack but it occurred at the hotel, it was counted. While IntelCenter makes every attempt to identify all incidents, the nature of reporting makes that nearly impossible. These numbers should be viewed as minimums with the total number likely higher where it could be expected to be so. The original source data for all incidents shown here is located in the IntelCenter Database (ICD) Incident Component.
