Methodology Note:
Attacks involving multiple trains, tracks and stations were counted as one incident. While IntelCenter makes every attempt to identify all incidents, the nature of reporting makes that nearly impossible. These numbers should be viewed as minimums with the total number likely higher where it could be expected to be so. The original source data for all incidents shown here is located in the IntelCenter Database (ICD) Incident Component.

The IntelCenter Database (ICD) allows users to easily track tactics and targeting along with many other metrics related to terrorist and rebel groups. As of 30 Jun. 2014, the ICD has detailed records on more than 121,000 incidents. IntelCenter also provides analytical support services on terrorist and rebel tactics and targeting.

Reporting and original source materials are contained in the IntelCenter Database (ICD). Sign up for a free 14-day trial of the ICD and see additional details by clicking here. IntelCenter has available similar analysis for other groups and subjects.
